Top ten.

I'm feeling very lazy today (again), so I'll just post the top few things dominating both my on and off school life here. Have fun.

Or at least pretend to.

1. Watch Prince of Tennis on youtube *coughillegalcough*.

2. Watching CS demos. Mostly fnatic.f0restwOw~

3. Trying out what I've learnt from the above. (In other words, play CS =D)

4. Blog hopping everywhere.

5. Learning the church's ancient antique sound system (10+ years old!!!11SHIFT)

6. Looking for nice songs off the net *coughillegalcough*.

7. Trying to get my damn corrupted Photoshop presets to be saved properly.

8. Mentally telling myself every night I'll study the next day.

9. Finding an excuse not to study the next day.

10. Thinking up stupid lists to post on my blog.

Tissue paper shortage.

Decided to blog about the handover party today rather than yesterday, since I got home pretty late.
Yesterday's party was, in a word, crazy. Arrived at hostel at around 3.30, and around half of the year 2s were there already. Spent the first few minutes blowing the balloons and teaching other SCs how to see Daniel's girlfriend's picture (Thank you Han Ping).
After practising, we still had over an hour left before the handover party really started, so we decided to add a second act for every... Damn. What's that word? Ok let's just use the word "group". So in the end, every group had two things to perform.
Have to say, considering the lameness of all the performances, I still liked ours the best. Scandalous.
The food was okay, but it was weird, seeing that most of it was made up of fried rice or mifen O_o. Can't complain, they weren't too bad. At least we didn't have to go hungry or anything.
The next part that came was the perfomances. Sadly, year 2s were up first. My part was kinda... retarded. I really really hope no one took videos and posted it on youtube. Its fun when it happens to Sean, but I don't really love it all that much if it happens on me. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I liked the year 3 guitar performance. That and listening to the guitar club makes me want to learn classical guitar even more in EOY hols (which I probably am, by the way).
The mini speeches gave by some many people were very touching and inspiring too. Even Mr Sng turned up. They all were done pretty well, seeing that most of them came up with most of it just shortly before they came, or even only when they were told to go up to say a few words. I know how hard it is.
The most memorable part would probably be the photo presentations. I got to see what the SCs were like before I even came to Dunman High, and its amazing how many memories they already have. Makes me wish that I would have that many one day, or hopefully even more.
Tissue paper was in great demand from the start, with uses for the food dropped on the floor, distributing the cake, dabbing away tears and Cassandra's sweat.
All in all, the event really made me want to stay in DHSSC, hoping that one day, I'll perform a miracle or two and balance ARC, SC and my horrible academics as easily as spinning a book. Now THAT would be a true miracle.

Follow your dreams. And go back to sleep.

Ok, minor changes to the template, if you would look to your right. I've decided to use large font too since I thought that my words look kinda small here.

So, I haven't blogged in over a week, so after tons of fans appealing *coughnotcough*, I decided to blog today. Currently, I'm trying not to think about closing blogger dashboard to do portfolio. Kinda unlike me, but yeah, that's what I'm considering right now, since I have nothing to blog about.

Hmm, why not blog about the portfolio then? Let's see how entertaining a blogpost about homework can be.

*ahem*
This year's portfolio, honestly, has been a pleasure to do, though time consuming. You've all seen the past posts on my blog, but they're really just tiny fragments of my mind, which has quite a case of wanderlust this year.

Last year, I was pretty much happy-go-lucky and took things as they come. It was a pretty much simple for secondary school life, and I never stopped2think about significant events in my life.

Maybe that's why this year I feel so much more different. I take every chance of free time I get to reflect a little on the day past, and laugh at myself for the awkward moments, the stupid ideas I get, and all the jokes we made in class - be it nice or about Sean.

Sometimes I wonder how differently I would have lived my life if I could relive it. It's cliche, I know, but it really is a good question to think about, just for the fun of it. There're so many things I wished I'd started earlier, like matching in CS, learn guitar, practise photoshopping and the like.

I would also adopt this more reflective (emo, if you will) attitude and mindset towards life. Many little things happen to everybody, but only few who actually stopped to appreciate all these fragments of joy, of anger, of sadness, of life.

I'm almost glad they made this portfolio compulsory. It allowed me to sit down, get a cup of hot coffee, and sincerely think about what has happened to me the first half of the year. More importantly, I see how I dealt with them, and in a way I learn more about myself.

I've made mistakes, and other choices paid off. Still, falling is part and parcel of life. What really matters is how we pick ourselves up.

Off to complete my portfolio.

GG class league. Or so we thought.

Things have been realllly looking up for the class league these few days. I mean, for a few weeks we thought the league system was completely abolished. And then all of a sudden Miss Ling says that the MSP Quiz is added into the class league. Was i surprised.

Oh well, last time we checked, we had a pretty cool two points, putting us ahead of four classes. How great. Supposed to be seven though, but turns out Miss Ling *coughcheatedcough* us of our 5 points from Xplore.

So we were pretty much nonchalant about it up till the MSP Quiz, when we thought a little about it. Still, it was pretty obvious that we were quite far behind the leaders, whoever they were, at seven points.

And then just yesterday, Madam Sau came along, saying that the top was at 24, Jia Zhen saying we got the Xplore points back and Chen Teck telling us that we had 19. Hmm still 5 short of the leader, aren't we? Too bad we don't have anything in the near future to give us that 5.

Hold on. Wait a minute. Who set up the Singapore Writers' Association? Neither do I nor CK, but that didn't stop us from qualifying for Humanities Quiz Finals. It was pretty weird though, with all the other classes cheering when they were announced, and ours laughing when they said "and 2K!".

Then again, I don't see much chance of us winning that. Our only strategy is to answer what we know, and let all the other groups minus all their points away guessing at the answers. Fat chance. At least we have one in the bag. Let's hope for more in the future.

And I'm practically blogging while studying for 3 tests at the same time. Multi-tasking and time planning comes second nature to me.

Especially since I just skipped third lang for the first time xD.
