The Sam Study Style.
Alright, it's just 17 days left to the October 1st - No, not our happy carefree Children's Day, it's the (dare I say it) End Of Year Examinations! I make it sound so happy.
So all you people out there would probably be mugging, studying, revising and sneaking time in between to read my blog to destress. But there's only so much my posts can do for you guys. All you're doing is filling your brain with useless (or not exactly, you'll see...) rubbish coming from mywonderful rubbish posts.
So let me ask you - is that enough? A day has 24 hours - 2 used for eating, 6 at school, 2 1/2 for travelling, 7 1/2 for sleeping, 2 1/2 for homework and 3 forprocrastinating studying. That makes a grand total of 23 1/2 hours.
"But there's twenty-four!" you yell. Yes I know.My maths is failing. When you see that tiny little wedge of free time in between a hectic and tight schedule, it's normal to feel that tinge of temptation whipsering louder and louder, telling you to use that time unproductively. That would be me.
So here this post is, whispering louder than ever, telling to waste that 1/2 hour without any worry. Why cram exam information into our brains when we can go thrice the distance backwards? At least you're moving faster.
"Then what's the point of this post?" you protest yet again. Well, you may be convinced, but your brain would only be able to comprehend a language in terms of x in the radial form that is sumarrised into around 80 words, extinguishes with a "finally-i-get-to-rest" sound and is elaborated and explained clearly, with a balanced conclusion showing how much the writer agrees with the statement. That's even close to English.
Ah, but remember. You're reading my blog. The nation of procrastination. This post will list out my top 5 ways of destressing during that puny 1/2 hour, maximising it so that it will be, when instructions are carefully followed, erase all forms of studying done in the past 2 days. Read at your own risk.

METHOD ONE.
HUMOUR.
Yes, humour. Humour is very essential for the human body. A simple laugh shows that the person is in a both good physical and mental state (unless its those kinda psychopath laughs). It creates the necessary juices to distract one from the dull boring life of studying.
The secret in METHOD ONE. is to find any opportunity you get to jab or poke at something orpreferrably (better results) someone. Be it harmless or otherwise, a simple little slip up from a friend can always create the necessary chance to start off a killer punchline. I'm lucky there was a situation to point out as an example.

Time: 6.43a,
Location: 2K Classroom
Tay Chen Teck started sweeping the floor at 6.32am. At 6.43am, Goh Hui Han started to laugh, whispering to Jane Tan who was sitting right beside her. I noticed something was amiss, and observed Mr Tay's appearance a little more carefully, and on a hunch. My hunch was right.
Me: "Chen Teck, you want me tell you something?"
Mr Tay: "What? How come everybody laughing? What's wrong?"
Me: "You want me tell you loudly or softly?"
Mr Tay: "What? What?"
Me: "Look down."
The victim looked down frantically and shouted ***! He righted the wrong and started to walk around the class swearing crazily using words that should not be published (not on my blog anyway),while the rest of the class proceeded to indulge in the pleasurable humour of this moment. His flyer was open =D.

METHOD TWO.
BLOGGING.
My 2nd personal favourite way of de-stressing. The blog allows you to relieve all kinds of stress in any way you can imagine. Blogs I've read show that their writers express themselves from poems and songs to quizzes and one word posts.
All these are great ways to keep alive and stop yourself from turning into zombies from toomuchstuditis. For best results, I reccomend that everyone should create a blog if they haven't yet, decide on a cool blog name since its permanent, pick out a blog skin that you love, and start posting.
For even better results, it would be good to find and distinguish your style from the rest. This can range from self-made blogskins, music embeddings to sharing about your passions or simply, like me, doing good posts that people will want to read. Even when they're supposed to be studying.

METHOD THREE.
GAMES.
Games are the simplest way of de-stressing. What's important is your choice of game. There are many games, free or costly, that are effective in helping one to forget about the worries of the EOYs.
I reccomend online game websites such as http://www.miniclip.com/, as the games hosted are free to play, fast loading and are simple to master. We're talking 1/2hour breaks here, so DOTA is out of question unless you happen to be Sherman or CT.
But still be wary that this method is the most risky, as it erases any memory of the notes you've been reading prior to the 1/2 wad of time. Also, the chances of missing the 1/2 hour mark and stopping is rather high, and would totally screw up your study timetable, so use at your own risk.

METHOD FOUR.
THE HAPPY SONG.
Yes, 2K, it's the happy song a.k.a TONDE! MAWATTE! ISHUUKAN~! This is the 必杀技 of my studying style. The song is known to be able to induce an artificial high that could very well match drugs such as cocaine or ecstacy. It will distract the student completely from any concentration put on studying.
The song is actually sung by the VAs of Prince of Tennis (Yohoi~!). It is highly reccomended for those who watch this anime. The second link is the Kikumaru and Ryoma version. Very, very funny. In Japanese though. The first link's description contains the translation of the song, but the dialogues between Ryoma and Kikumaru in the second link are not translated. If you study Japanese for 3rd Language, it shouldn't be too hard to understand.

Be wary though. When put on a handphone and blasted on full volume, the song is known to be able to cause catastrophic disasters on an international level. I blame myself for both disturbing the studying for Third Language or other subjects in my class the past few days and the recent earthquakes.

CHATTING.
By far the safest and most convenient way of relieving stress, I believe. This method can actually be snuck in the middle of studying and lessons, when executed and done with sufficient stealth and caution.
The effectiveness of this method varies, results depending on solely the person(s) that you are conversing with. If that person happens to be someone you really like or know, the results are guaranteed that the 1/2 hour is definitely enough to relieve you of the stress that you have. If you happen to be talking to someone you don't exactly know very well, chances are you'll have wasted your break.
There are many ways that you can execute this method, from MSN to SMS, School to Home if you live close enough. This method also can be applied to studying, such as forming study groups, but improving your grades isn't what you're here for, are you?
So since you've finished this carefully thought out plan, do not hestitate to copy this down somewhere to postover your studying schedule. This'll be my last post before the EOYs, so i guess I'll be taking a break for quite some time. So it's so long for now, and stopping2think will come back - greater than ever!
